Have you ever seen a magical door? This one is magical. It has a Friendship Flower on it.
It is made with scraps of paper and drawings.
It can take you to far away places to see many wonderful things.
If you stand in front and touch the center of the flower, the magic happens.
너는 마법의 문을 본 적이 있니? 마법의 문은 카멜리아와 친구가 함께 만든 멋진 문이야.
그 문에는 여러 가지 조각으로 만들어진 예쁜 꽃이 하나 있어.
그 꽃의 한가운데를 누르면 마법이 시작돼.
그 마법의 힘으로 저 먼 곳까지 데려가서 멋진 것을 잔뜩 볼 수 있게 해준단다.

Camelia was an art student and one day she stood looking at the flower for a long time.
어느 날 카멜리아는 한참 동안 마법의 문에 있는 꽃을 바라보았어.

While she was staring at the door she heard a strange noise that came behind it.
그런데 갑자기 문 뒤에서 이상한 소리가 들려오기 시작했어.

She came closer to the flower and touched the center that was made of many different eyes.
카멜리아는 가까이 다가가 여러 가지 눈망울로 그려진 마법의 꽃을 살짝 만져 보았어.

To her surprise the door opened to another dimension.
그러자 갑자기 문이 열리면서 다른 세계가 펼쳐지는 거야!

She heard a voice that came from the lips of the flower inviting her to come in. (A soft voice invited her to go in)
그때 마법의 꽃이 카멜리아에게 부드러운 목소리로 말했어. “어서 들어오렴.”

As soon as she stepped inside, many little creatures gathered around her, grabbing her by the hand and wanting her to keep walking next to them.
카멜리아가 문 안으로 들어서자 친구와 함께 그렸던 작은 생명들이 그녀의 주위에 모여들었어. 모여든 작은 생명들은 카멜리아의 손을 잡고 함께 걸었지.

It was a beautiful place. There were many kinds of creatures; some were walking, other flying. Other creatures looked like flowers.
마법의 문 뒤의 세계는 정말 아름다운 곳이었어. 걷기도 하고 날기도 하는 수많은 생명들이 있었어.

It was a beautiful forest filled with trees, flowers, small houses, fairies, gnomes, dragons, and all kind of friendly monsters.
나무, 꽃, 작은 집, 요정, 용, 땅을 지키는 생명들과 친절한 몬스터들로 가득 찬 숲이었어.

There were also strange but amazing flying machines.
그 곳에는 하늘을 나는 놀라운 기계도 있었지.

Everyone was very friendly; they inspired trust, love, caring, and many beautiful emotions. Camelia felt safe and happy.
모든 생명들이 친절했어.
서로를 믿고, 사랑하고, 아껴주는 아름다운 마음을 가지고 있었지.
카멜리아는 편안하고 행복했어.

A creature with long hair, snow color skin and all dressed in white said: “ Welcome”.
눈처럼 새하얀 드레스를 입은 요정이 카멜리아에게 말했어.
“친구야! 이곳에 온 걸 환영해. ”

Camelia looked at the creature while she continued talking: “Welcome dear friend. You are one of the many children that have given us life by creating for us a place to live, share and have fun. Here we will leave as long as the friendship you and all of your friends have created continues.”
카멜리아는 요정을 향해 고개를 돌렸어. “반가워 친구야. 너는 우리에게 생명을 불어넣어 준 아이 중 한 명이야. 너와 네 친구는 우리가 살 수 있는 멋진 집을 그려주고 그곳에서 즐거움을 느낄 수 있게 해주었어. 우린 너와 네 친구의 우정이 있는 한 항상 이곳에서 살고 있을 거야.”

She asked Camelia to use her imagination and keep creating. Again she said: “there are no limits to what you all can accomplish together. Show the world that it is easy to work together and learn from one another.”
요정은 카멜리아에게 그녀의 상상력으로 계속 그림을 그려달라고 했어. 그리고는 말했지. “모두와 함께 그림을 그리는 것에 한계는 없단다. 친구와 함께 그림을 그리는 것은 어렵지 않은 일이야. 그것을 통해 다른 이에게 배울 점이 있다는 것을 세상에 알려주렴.”

Her last advise was: “Never stop believing in the amazing power the Arts have in your lives. Using them you will always feel you can solve any problem.”
요정은 카멜리아에게 마지막 조언을 해주었어. “너의 삶에 있는 예술은 엄청난 힘을 가지고 있다는 것을 항상 믿으렴. 그 힘이 있다면 너는 어떤 문제라도 해결할 수 있을 거야”

Then she invited Camelia to spend some time with all the creatures in the magical forest.
요정은 카멜리아를 마법의 숲 속으로 초대했어. 그리고 모두와 함께 즐거운 시간을 보냈어.

When the afternoon was over, she said good bye and asked Camelia for one last thing:
“when you return smile and tell your friends what you have seen. Through this magical door and this flower you will always find the meaning of true friendship and collaboration.”
오후가 거의 끝나갈 무렵, 요정은 작별인사를 하고 한 가지 부탁을 했어.
“떠나면 너와 네 친구가 함께 만든 이 세계에서 무엇을 보았는지 친구에게 이야기해주렴”

Camelia returned through the magical door, back to her classroom. She was happy and told her teacher what had happened.
카멜리아는 마법의 문을 통해 돌아왔어. 그리고 기쁜 마음으로 선생님에게 어떤 일이 있었는지 이야기했지.

She told the teacher what had happened and they both shared her happiness knowing that through the friendship created with this magical creature anything was possible.
선생님과 카멜리아는 너무나 행복했어.
우정과 예술의 힘이 있다면 무엇이든 해낼 수 있다는 것을 마법의 문을 통해 만난 생명들에게 배웠기 때문이야.

Camelia hugged her teacher and left knowing in her heart that this was just the beginning of many wonderful adventures.
카멜리아는 선생님을 따뜻하게 안아드렸어. 그리고 이 경험은 재미있는 모험의 시작일 뿐이라고 생각했어.
